Job Summary
The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room (OR) position is a full-time opportunity located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania at Memorial Medical Center. As a CST, you will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding patient care and supporting surgical teams throughout various procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the surgical preparation and management of instruments and supplies.
- Support surgeons during operations by providing necessary tools and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Handle and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis as required.
- Participate in the scheduling and coordination of surgical procedures.
- Ensure exceptional patient care at all times by maintaining a focused, organized approach in the operating room.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is required.
- Proven experience in a surgical environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
- Ability to work effectively within a surgical team and communicate clearly.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
