Job Summary
The Top Health System in Hagerstown, Maryland, is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join their esteemed team. This position is located on-site and involves working within a highly recognized health system that provides a range of medical services, which includes, but is not limited to, medical/surgical care, critical care, and maternity care.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgical teams by preparing and maintaining sterile environments during surgical procedures.
- Handle surgical instruments and supplies expertly throughout operations.
- Collaborate with surgeons and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in patient preparation and post-operative care recommendations.
- Keep abreast of the latest techniques and advancements in surgical technology.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required.
- Equivalent training as a Surgical Technician in the Armed Forces is recognized.
- Experience working in a surgical environment is preferable.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and regulations is essential.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are crucial.
