Job description
The Charge Master Coding Analyst is responsible for reviewing medical records and billing practices to verify their accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards. This role also involves collaborating with clinical teams to rectify any billing discrepancies and offering expertise on coding modifications. Applicants should possess a degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration, or a comparable medical discipline, as well as a valid professional coding certification. Additionally, candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in a hospital setting, including a minimum of 3 years focused on coding, billing, or patient accounting.
