This role also involves collaborating with clinical teams to rectify any billing discrepancies and offering expertise on coding modifications. Applicants should possess a degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration, or a comparable medical discipline, as well as a valid professional coding certification. Additionally, candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in a hospital setting, including a minimum of 3 years focused on coding, billing, or patient accounting.
