Job Summary
The Chief Nursing Officer is responsible for the management of both clinical and administrative nursing operations on a daily basis, aiming to deliver exceptional, person-centered care while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. This role involves working closely with the CEO to guide the nursing staff, oversee staffing needs, and promote quality enhancement initiatives throughout the healthcare facility.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all nursing operations to maintain high standards of patient care.
- Partner with the CEO to lead and support the nursing team effectively.
- Manage staffing levels to ensure adequate nursing coverage and support.
- Develop and implement quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid RN license.
- 3-5 years of experience in a nursing leadership role such as a Director of Nursing, ideally within a long-term care environment.
- A BSN or MSN degree is highly preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of federal and state healthcare regulations is essential.
