Job Summary
The position involves creating diverse mechanical, electrical, and structural designs through CAD software by interpreting sketches and engineering specifications. Additionally, the role includes mentoring junior staff and conducting field measurements to maintain precise project records.
Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical, electrical, and structural drawings utilizing CAD software.
- Interpret sketches and engineering data to produce detailed documentation.
- Provide training and support to junior staff members in drafting techniques.
- Conduct field measurements to verify accuracy in documentation and design.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum of four years of verified drafting experience, specifically four years using AutoCAD.
- At least two years of experience as an Engineer Drafter 3rd Class or in a similar capacity.
