Job Summary
The Auto Estimator is responsible for gathering essential vehicle information to create repair estimates through both photographic evidence and direct inspections. This role encompasses providing expert technical assistance to claims handlers while ensuring effective and professional communication with both customers and repair facilities during the entire claims process.
Responsibilities
- Collect and assess vehicle data to formulate accurate repair estimates.
- Conduct inspections either in-person or through photographic methods.
- Offer technical support to claims handlers regarding vehicle damages.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers and repair shops throughout the claims lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in auto collision repair, damage appraisal, or insurance estimates.
- A valid driver’s license is essential for performing vehicle inspections.
- Physical capability to execute thorough inspections of vehicles.
