Job Summary
The Auto Estimator is responsible for gathering vehicle details from repair facilities or customers to prepare both initial and supplementary repair estimates. This position also plays a crucial role in offering technical assistance to claim handlers while ensuring outstanding customer service during the entirety of the claims process.
Responsibilities
- Collect and assess vehicle information from various sources, including repair shops and customers.
- Prepare both initial and supplemental repair cost estimates.
- Provide technical support to claim handlers as needed.
- Maintain high levels of customer service throughout the claims process.
Qualifications
- Experience in the areas of auto collision repair, damage estimation, or insurance appraisal is required.
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory for this role.
- Strong communication skills and critical thinking abilities are essential.
- Capability to conduct physical inspections of vehicles is necessary.
