Job Summary
The Fabricator plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by setting up and managing machines used for cutting, bending, and welding sheet metal parts. This position requires a thorough understanding of assembly prints and quality control through the inspection and finishing of joints.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate machinery for cutting, bending, and welding sheet metal.
- Interpret and read assembly prints accurately.
- Conduct quality inspections of finished products.
- Ensure smooth joints through appropriate finishing methods.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- A minimum of four years of experience in welding is required.
- Ability to read and comprehend assembly prints effectively.
- Basic math skills are essential.
- Physical capability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
