Job Summary
The role involves delivering Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients facing intricate medical challenges while overseeing the clinical duties within the dietetics team. The position also includes mentoring less experienced staff members, engaging in quality enhancement projects, and formulating nutrition care plans aligned with hospital standards.
Responsibilities
- Implement Medical Nutrition Therapy for patients with complex health conditions.
- Coordinate clinical activities among the dietetics team.
- Mentor junior dietetic staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Develop nutrition care plans that adhere to established hospital protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics.
- Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Licensure to practice in the State of Georgia.
- A minimum of three years of clinical experience in dietetics.
- Maintain a specialty certification or hold a Master’s degree.
