Job Summary
The position of Clinical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Technician is open in Babylon, New York. This role is centered in a comprehensive clinical and anatomic pathology laboratory that is fully operational, offering critical services in laboratory testing and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Perform various laboratory tests and analyses as required by the facility.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results through careful execution of methodologies.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and adhere to quality control standards.
- Collaborate with other medical staff to support patient care outcomes.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a closely related field.
- Prior experience in a laboratory setting is preferred but not always necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
