Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a pivotal role in delivering essential healthcare support to patients. This individual assists in a variety of tasks that promote the well-being and comfort of patients, ensuring they receive quality care during their recovery and daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of nursing staff.
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team.
- Support patients in mobility and rehabilitation exercises.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Assist with feeding and hydration of patients as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
