**Certified Nursing Assistant**
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential support in patient care while working under the guidance of a registered nurse. Key responsibilities encompass handling patient health records and facilitating the smooth functioning of the unit. Qualified candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent education and hold an active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. In addition, applicants must be registered with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and demonstrate the physical ability to perform care-related tasks for patients.
