Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide essential care and support to patients during the day shift, which operates from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This role is crucial in ensuring that patients maintain comfort and receive help with daily activities, thereby contributing to their overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitoring and reporting changes in patient conditions to nursing staff.
- Helping with meal preparation and feeding patients as needed.
- Maintaining cleanliness in patient rooms and common areas.
- Supporting mobility by assisting patients with walking and transfers.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of practice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and healthcare team members.
