Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Evening Shift provides essential support and care to patients in a healthcare facility during evening hours. This role is crucial in ensuring that patients receive high-quality assistance with daily living activities, promoting their overall well-being and comfort. The CNA works under the guidance of nursing staff and collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting needs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Monitor and document vital signs and report changes in patient conditions to nursing staff.
- Help with feeding and nutritional needs, ensuring patients receive proper dietary support.
- Maintain cleanliness in patient areas and assist with environment management.
- Follow established protocols and procedures for patient safety and care.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- State certification as a Nursing Assistant.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
