CNC Operator

Job description

Job Summary

The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts. This role focuses on ensuring that all machines run efficiently and produce high-quality output according to specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Setup and calibrate CNC machines based on technical drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent quality and adherence to production schedules.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Document production data and maintain logs for quality control purposes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to improve processes and product quality.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC operations is a plus.
  • Proven experience operating CNC machinery.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Ability to perform precise measurements and use measurement tools effectively.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
