Job Summary
The Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring adherence to both internal and external compliance obligations related to the rental housing portfolio. This role encompasses the execution of tenant file audits along with effective management of property management operations. Additionally, the Compliance Manager plays a key role in monitoring financial performance, preparing budgets, and providing training for staff on compliance standards and software applications.
Responsibilities
- Oversee compliance with internal and external regulations for the rental housing portfolio.
- Conduct audits of tenant files to ensure compliance standards are met.
- Manage the operations of property management effectively.
- Monitor financial performance and assist in budget preparation.
- Provide training to staff regarding compliance requirements and software systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Specialized certification in Low Income Housing Tax Credits and HUD-assisted properties.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
