Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable Construction Mechanical Engineer 2 to join our team in Arlington, Virginia. This role entails employing engineering skills in the design and implementation of various mechanical systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the submittal review process to ensure that all documentation meets project requirements.
- Independently schedule tasks and manage time effectively throughout project phases.
- Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines to ensure project objectives are met efficiently.
- Identify and mitigate potential hazards related to mechanical systems, including sharp objects and electrical risks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in construction-related contexts.
- Education in mechanical engineering may be considered as a substitute for prior work experience.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and risk management in construction environments.
