Job Summary
The intern will play a crucial role in supporting lean manufacturing and process enhancement efforts. They will engage in activities such as performing time studies, conducting data analysis, and executing root cause investigations to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct time studies to gather data on production processes.
- Perform data analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Execute root cause analysis to determine problems within processes.
- Assist in applying 5S methodologies to streamline operations.
- Help create visual management tools aimed at improving production efficiency.
Qualifications
- A strong interest in lean manufacturing practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis software such as Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication skills suitable for a dynamic manufacturing setting.
