Job Summary
The Control Center Operator I plays a vital role in monitoring and managing operations within the control center to ensure efficient activity and safety protocols are maintained. This position is essential for ensuring clear communication and efficient response during operational incidents.
Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time data and operations to ensure seamless functioning and adherence to safety protocols.
- Respond to and document incidents promptly, coordinating with relevant teams for resolution.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding operational updates and alerts.
- Maintain detailed logs and reports to track operational progress and incidents.
- Assist in training and mentoring new operators regarding control center operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in a related field is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to operational changes.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on operational accuracy and safety.
- Proficient in using technology and software relevant to control center operations.
