**Job Title: Cook**
The Cook plays a crucial role in crafting nutritious and high-quality meals for both residents and staff, ensuring compliance with pre-set menus and individual dietary requirements. Responsibilities also include upholding sanitation standards within the kitchen, aiding the Dining Services Director in managing inventory, and providing support with staff training. Ideal candidates should demonstrate a solid work ethic, be capable of lifting a minimum of 40 pounds, and possess proficient English communication skills for recipe comprehension and resident interaction. Prior experience in a comparable position is expected, along with a thorough understanding of health department guidelines and safety procedures.
