Job Summary
The Recovery Center Driver plays a vital role in the transportation of clients to and from treatment facilities, ensuring their safety and comfort. This position also involves maintaining the vehicle and assisting with various tasks within the recovery center.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport clients to scheduled appointments and group sessions.
- Ensure the vehicle is maintained in good working condition and is clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Provide assistance to clients as needed, fostering a supportive environment.
- Maintain accurate records of transport including mileage and the condition of the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with clients and the recovery center staff regarding schedules and logistics.
- Adhere to all safety and legal regulations while driving.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a driving role, particularly within a healthcare or recovery setting, is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and professionally.
- Must pass background checks and drug screening as required.
