Job description
**Correctional Officer**
The role of a Correctional Officer involves monitoring and overseeing individuals who are incarcerated to maintain safety, order, and adherence to facility regulations. Key responsibilities entail carrying out security patrols, conducting searches, controlling inmate movements, and reacting to emergency incidents. Applicants must meet the following criteria: be at least 21 years of age, be a citizen of the United States, and have completed a high school education or possess a G.E.D. Moreover, candidates are required to have a valid driver’s license and a Firearm Owner’s Identification Card (F.O.I.D.) or the capacity to secure one.
