Job description
**Job Title: Phlebotomist**
The Phlebotomist is tasked with performing venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood specimens, while also carrying out bedside test analyses to aid in patient diagnosis. This role includes the crucial responsibility of maintaining laboratory documentation, overseeing quality control measures, and accurately recording all invasive procedures in patient medical files. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification, alongside proof of successful completion of a phlebotomy training program. An active, unrestricted certification or registration in the practicing state is mandatory, and experience in a correctional environment is preferred.
