The Cost Accountant will be an integral part of our Cedar Rapids, Iowa operations, focusing on enhancing the financial accuracy and reporting within our manufacturing sectors. This role demands collaboration across our international business units, ensuring comprehensive cost analysis and compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the valuation processes and ensure accurate financial reporting related to costs.
- Engage in account coding and assist in tax assessments associated with cost management.
- Prepare thorough documentation and provide support to auditors during cost-related audits.
- Utilize SAP or similar systems to manage and analyze cost data effectively.
Qualifications
- Proficient in cost accounting principles and practices.
