Job Summary
The Cost Accountant III plays a crucial role in producing month-end and supplementary reports, contributing to informed financial decision-making within the organization. This position demands expertise in cost accounting principles to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Generate month-end financial reports and conduct ad hoc reporting as required.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to assist in strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements impacting cost analysis, including ITAR and EAR considerations.
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline accounting processes and enhance financial accuracy.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Analysis, or a related field is necessary.
- Alternatively, candidates with 9 years of relevant experience may be considered.
- Familiarity with software or hardware regulated by U.S. export controls is beneficial.
