Job Summary
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) plays a vital role in assessing the progress of residents while ensuring meticulous maintenance of patient records. This position involves the development of rehabilitation programs aimed at enhancing the physical and mental independence of residents.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate resident progress and update patient records accordingly.
- Develop and implement tailored rehabilitation programs.
- Facilitate social activities and conduct therapy sessions to promote resident engagement.
- Support residents in achieving their rehabilitation goals and increasing overall independence.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Possession of a current Ohio Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Ability to successfully complete background checks and drug screenings.
