Job Summary
The Crimping Machine Assembler is responsible for the assembly and testing of crimping machines. This position involves interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to ensure high-quality production standards and operational efficiency. The assembler will contribute to the overall manufacturing process, ensuring that machines meet outlined performance and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble crimping machines according to technical specifications and drawings.
- Conduct testing procedures to verify machine functionality and performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the assembly process.
- Document assembly processes and ensure compliance with company quality control standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or relevant certification preferred.
- Proven experience in machine assembly or a similar technical field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
