**Job Title: Crossing Guard**
The crossing guard plays a crucial role in managing and directing both vehicle and pedestrian traffic to safeguard students at school crosswalks. Responsibilities involve overseeing the flow of traffic, conveying safety regulations, and informing school authorities about any traffic violations or incidents that occur. Applicants should have a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification, along with meeting all physical and mental standards set by the Colorado Department of Transportation. This position demands the capability to stand for prolonged periods, uphold mental vigilance, and successfully complete a criminal background check.
