Job Summary
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing advanced imaging using computed tomography (CT) technology. This professional plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic images to assist healthcare providers in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct standardized imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Prepare and maintain imaging equipment and technology.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare personnel to evaluate imaging results.
- Adhere to protocols and procedures for proper patient documentation and record-keeping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the imaging area.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid certification as a CT Technologist.
- Proficiency in radiologic technology and imaging protocols.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
