Job Summary
The CT Technologist plays a crucial role in conducting computerized tomography scans for patients at Northside Hospital. This position involves utilizing advanced imaging equipment to obtain accurate diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
Responsibilities
- Perform computerized tomography scans on patients efficiently and safely.
- Insert intravenous catheters as part of the imaging procedures when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and assist in maintaining a sterile environment.
- Provide clear instructions to patients and respond to their inquiries during the imaging process.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited program by ARRT or NMTCB.
- Current registration with ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT).
- Possession of a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients and staff.
