Job Summary
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans, ensuring adherence to protocols and standards for patient care. This role involves operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining a safe environment throughout the imaging process.
Responsibilities
- Conducting CT scans with precision and accuracy while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Collaborating with radiologists to ensure proper imaging techniques are used.
- Monitoring the patient’s condition during the procedure and providing necessary support.
- Ensuring the proper functioning of imaging equipment and promptly addressing any technical issues.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist with additional training in computed tomography.
- Valid state licensure to practice as a CT Technologist.
- Strong understanding of CT protocols, procedures, and patient care standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing patient safety.
