Job Summary
The Sr. Systems Administrator/Infrastructure Architect is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the client infrastructure environments. This role focuses on advanced systems administration and the architectural elements necessary to maintain efficient operations. Working closely with Tier 2 engineers and technicians, you will support complex incidents and contribute to root cause analyses.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain client infrastructure environments to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with Tier 2 engineers and technicians on resolving complex technical incidents.
- Conduct root cause analysis for systems and network issues.
- Support backup solutions and ensure network integrity and security.
- Utilize knowledge of cybersecurity best practices to enhance system security.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Tier 1 support staff.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in IT, preferably in systems administration and infrastructure architecture.
- Strong familiarity with networking, server management, and backup solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve technical issues.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Proven track record of collaboration with engineering teams and support staff.
