Job description
The dentist will be responsible for delivering and overseeing dental treatment for inmates, encompassing standard procedures such as fillings and extractions, and ensuring that all services are accurately recorded in patient files. They will also assess dental health initiatives, collaborate with facility medical staff, and conduct training sessions for healthcare personnel on proper dental care and emergency protocols. Applicants must have graduated from an accredited dental program and possess a valid Pennsylvania dental license. Furthermore, they are required to keep current certifications for DEA and BLS/CPR, as well as hold a valid driver’s license.
