Job Summary
The Designer plays a crucial role in the development of intricate engineering products, processes, and equipment through the utilization of CAD systems, while maintaining high standards of quality control. This position involves preparing initial sketches, compiling bills of materials, and contributing to cost assessments and project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed engineering products and processes using CAD technology.
- Ensure adherence to quality control standards throughout the design process.
- Draft preliminary drawings and develop bills of materials.
- Engage in cost estimation activities and assist in project scheduling.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or four years of related professional experience.
- Proficiency in both 2D and 3D CAD software applications.
- Strong understanding of ASME engineering drawing standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within small teams.
