Job Summary
The position of DevOps Engineer is located in Santa Clara, California. The role is focused on optimizing and automating the integration and deployment processes within the software development lifecycle. Candidates will work collaboratively in an onsite environment to enhance operational efficiency and the quality of deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline software releases.
- Utilize modern source control management (SCM) systems, with a strong emphasis on Git.
- Optimize infrastructure for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues as they arise.
- Contribute to infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Over 6 years of experience with modern and distributed SCM systems.
- Proficiency in CI/CD methodologies and tools.
- Strong programming and scripting skills.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and virtualization technologies.
