Job Summary
We are on the lookout for a dedicated DevOps Engineer who is enthusiastic about information technology systems and eager to contribute to our team. This role is based in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, and requires an onsite presence. The ideal candidate will take charge of managing various IT environments, specifically UNIX and Windows operating systems, while identifying improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the performance and stability of IT systems in both UNIX and Windows environments.
- Identify and implement solutions to improve business operations and technical performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure streamlined workflows and effective deployment strategies.
- Proactively monitor system performance and oversee maintenance tasks to ensure uninterrupted service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar IT or DevOps role.
- Strong understanding of UNIX and Windows operating systems.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and suggest viable enhancements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying issues.
