The LPN is responsible for delivering nursing care within a hemodialysis clinic, which includes assessing patients, starting treatments, and overseeing their progress. This role involves administering medications, upholding infection control standards, and relaying patient updates to the charge nurse. Applicants must have graduated from a recognized practical nursing program and possess a valid LPN license in South Dakota. Furthermore, current certification in CPR/AED and IV therapy training as mandated by the state are necessary qualifications.
