Job description

Job Summary

The Director of Compliance Operations will lead the compliance efforts within the organization, ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and corporate policies. This role is vital in promoting a compliance culture and mitigating risks associated with regulatory obligations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement compliance programs and strategies.
  • Monitor organizational compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify compliance gaps.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams to stay updated on changes in laws.
  • Prepare compliance reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in compliance, risk management, or a similar field.
  • Strong understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
