Job Summary
The Director of Nursing is tasked with delivering clinical leadership and oversight to nursing personnel across various Intermediate Care and Adult Residential facilities. This role is essential in maintaining compliance with regulations, mentoring nursing staff, and leading quality improvement initiatives aimed at serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing teams in multiple facilities.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and compliance protocols.
- Mentor and train nursing staff to promote professional development.
- Implement and evaluate quality improvement initiatives focused on vulnerable populations.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Degree from an accredited nursing education program.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in community health, long-term care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
