Job Summary
The Director of Plant Operations is responsible for managing maintenance, transportation, security, and capital initiatives to maintain compliance with regulations and to promote operational effectiveness. This role includes being actively involved in equipment repairs and liaising with vendors and local authorities to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the maintenance and operations of plant facilities.
- Coordinate security and transportation services within the organization.
- Lead capital projects and ensure they meet regulatory standards.
- Engage in hands-on management during equipment repairs.
- Work collaboratively with vendors and local officials for efficient plant operations.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a relevant field.
- Universal HVAC certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in maintenance, plant operations, or construction.
