Job Summary
The General Manager plays a pivotal role in managing the entirety of restaurant operations, ensuring effective control over costs, inventory management, and cash handling. This position involves not only the operational aspects but also focuses on fostering an environment of exceptional customer service and employee development.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all facets of restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Manage cost control, inventory management, and cash handling procedures.
- Develop and maintain staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.
- Conduct hiring and training of new employees to uphold service standards.
- Champion high levels of customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Preferred: At least one year of previous experience in restaurant management.
