Job Summary
The ECG Technician is responsible for conducting diagnostic assessments such as electrocardiograms, cardiac stress tests, and Holter monitoring for patients across all age groups. This role plays a vital part in patient care and contributes to the overall assessment of cardiovascular health.
Responsibilities
- Conduct electrocardiograms and cardiac stress tests.
- Perform Holter monitoring procedures.
- Keep patient records updated and organized.
- Document test outcomes accurately.
- Ensure that all equipment is well maintained and functioning correctly.
Qualifications
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Ideally, six months of experience in ECG operations.
- Completion of a Basic ECG Interpretation course or at least one year of college is preferred.
