Job Summary
The Paralegal is tasked with overseeing intricate litigation caseloads from their beginning stages to trial, showcasing expertise in medical record evaluation and drafting discovery documents. This role involves collaboration with expert witnesses and providing support to attorneys throughout hearings, mediations, and trial processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex litigation cases from initiation to trial.
- Analyze medical records and draft necessary discovery documents.
- Coordinate interaction with expert witnesses.
- Assist attorneys during hearings, mediations, and trial proceedings.
Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of experience in plaintiff litigation, with a focus on elder abuse or medical malpractice.
- Strong understanding of California civil procedure.
- Ability to handle large volumes of medical records effectively.
