Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer VI acts as a key technical expert in the development, design, and validation of intricate electronic hardware tailored for Department of Defense (DoD) missile defense systems. This position entails offering technical guidance and support to engineering teams while ensuring that all outputs meet military and aerospace industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior technical authority in the architecture and design of electronic hardware.
- Guide and mentor engineering teams to foster technical skill and compliance.
- Ensure that all designs align with military and aerospace regulatory requirements.
- Qualify complex hardware for use in missile defense applications.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in electrical hardware design, with an emphasis on aerospace or defense industries.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is mandatory.
- Ability to secure a DoD Secret clearance is essential.
