**EMT-A Job Description**
The EMT-A is responsible for delivering hands-on clinical assistance within the emergency department, engaging in patient care, performing phlebotomy, managing wounds, and providing aid during critical emergency incidents. Additionally, the EMT-A oversees the movement of patients, ensures the availability of medical supplies, and handles necessary administrative tasks to facilitate smooth operations within the department. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent and have completed an accredited EMT-Advanced or EMT-Intermediate program. A valid certification as an EMT-I, EMT-A, or EMT-P, along with CPR certification, is mandatory for this position.
