Job Summary
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) will deliver critical emergency medical services and trauma care to patients in need, facilitating their safe transport to appropriate healthcare facilities. This role is vital in ensuring the well-being of patients during medical emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Provide immediate emergency medical and trauma care to patients.
- Oversee the transportation of patients to medical facilities, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient care reports documenting all interactions and treatments.
- Ensure that all emergency medical equipment is properly serviced and adheres to safety compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current Washington State EMT-B certification.
- A valid driver’s license is required for the role.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs is necessary for patient handling.
- Strong familiarity with emergency medical protocols and procedures.
