Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and providing patient-focused care through a variety of clinical activities. This includes conducting thorough assessments, administering medications, and supporting physicians during endoscopic procedures. Additionally, the nurse plays a critical role in post-procedure recovery care and in educating both patients and their families regarding treatment plans and aftercare protocols.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments to determine healthcare needs.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
- Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Provide care for patients in the recovery phase post-procedure.
- Educate patients and families about treatment options and aftercare instructions.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification is required.
- An associate degree in nursing is mandatory.
- Previous experience in clinical nursing practices is essential for success in this role.
