Job Summary
The Endoscopy Department is seeking a dedicated Endoscopy Technician who will be responsible for assisting in endoscopic procedures. The role involves scrubbing during cases, ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of endoscopic equipment, and being available for on-call duties as required. This position operates on a schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Assist in endoscopic procedures by scrubbing and preparing the necessary instruments.
- Perform cleaning and maintenance of endoscopic scopes and equipment to ensure sterilization and safety.
- Be available for on-call duties as required by the department.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an endoscopy setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of endoscopic equipment and sterilization processes is a plus.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
