Job Summary
The Endoscopy Technician plays a vital role in supporting physicians and nursing personnel during gastroenterology procedures, focusing on maintaining a sterile and secure environment throughout these processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize procedure rooms for gastroenterology tasks.
- Handle and manage medical instruments and supplies effectively.
- Provide direct assistance to patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards to maintain a sterile environment.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary.
- Preferred candidates will have a minimum of two years’ experience in a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center or outpatient facility.
