Job Summary
The Engineering and Maintenance Manager is responsible for directing the Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, and Machine Design teams to enhance equipment operational efficiency and boost production capability. This position manages capital projects, nurtures the development of technical personnel, and guarantees that facilities are fully prepared, all while fostering a cooperative leadership environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, and Machine Design teams.
- Improve equipment uptime and increase production capacity.
- Oversee capital projects and ensure successful execution.
- Develop and mentor technical staff to enhance their skills.
- Maintain readiness of facilities for operations.
- Promote and uphold a collaborative leadership culture within the teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field.
- At least seven years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering or maintenance.
- A minimum of three years in a leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.
